The Institute for Scientific and Technical Information

Scientific and Technical Information (STI) is not only a key factor of innovation but also an essential component of any research process.

For over a decade, the Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (INstitut de l’Information Scientifique et Technique - INIST) of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) has been designing and developing services to facilitate access to and valorization of scientific information produced by international basic and applied research communities.

INIST at Bibliostar

INIST information specialists will welcome you on stand A17 at Bibliostar 2010, 11-12 March, Milan - Palazzo delle Stelline.

Inist join Datacite consortium

Inist officially joined the DataCite consortium as a French representative in February 2010. DataCite is the result of an initiative by several leading scholarly libraries in Europe whose aim is to enhance access to research data by propounding new services.

ICSTI Workshop

INIST is involved in the one-day workshop “Interactive Publications and the Record of Scienceâ€, organised by the International Council for Scientific and Technical Information (ICSTI) in Paris, Université Pierre et Marie Curie, on February 8th, 2010.
